We are seeking a reliable caregiver to support a 21-year-old male client with cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities. The client uses a wheelchair and walker, has limited communication, no balance, and difficulty digesting food. This is a hands-on role that requires patience, attentiveness, and experience with total care.
Schedule:
Monday & Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with daily routines and activities
- Total care: bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene
- Diaper changing and frequent repositioning
- Assistance with feeding and digestion-friendly meals
- Transfers to and from the toilet
- Light cooking and cleaning
- Laundry and general household help
Requirements:
- Must be dependable, patient, and comfortable with total care
- Experience with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities preferred
- Must pass a Level 2 background screening
- Must have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it
