Part-time Caregiver Fort Myers

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The individual is a 26 year-old man in need of a caregiver to support him with personal care, snack preparation and engaging him in activities. He enjoys Disney movies and going for rides in the family golf cart.

This is an independent contract position and pays $15 per hour

Hiring incentive once criteria is met!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-1pm, 1-2 evenings per month

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

• Assistance with personal care
• Meal/snack preparation 
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment 
• Facilitate community involvement by taking on walks and rides in the family golf cart
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization 
• Complete daily progress notes 

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent 
• Have a Valid Drivers license 
• Are 18 years of age or older
