Part-Time Caregiver North Chicago, IL (Next to Waukegan)

Description

Schedule: 4 hours on Thursdays and 4 hours on Fridays

Start Date: Immediate 

• ADL Support: Assist with eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and continence.
   
• Household Tasks: Prepare meals, perform light housework, do laundry, and run errands as needed.
   
• Transportation & Appointments: Drive or accompany the client to doctor appointments, ensuring safe and timely travel.
   
• Telephone Assistance: Help clients place or receive phone calls, ensuring clear communication and follow-up as needed.
   
• Client Well-Being: Provide consistent care, build a supportive rapport, and help create a comfortable environment for the client.

Requirements

• Availability: Must be able to accommodate the specified schedule of 4 hours on Thursdays and 4 hours on Fridays.
   
• Experience: Previous caregiving experience is preferred, particularly in home care settings.
   
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical; dependability is essential in maintaining high-quality client care.
   
• Professionalism: Maintain a compassionate demeanor, respect client confidentiality, and observe all relevant guidelines and standards of care.
   
• Physical Capability: Must be able to assist with mobility and other physically engaging caregiving tasks.
   
• Location and Transportation: The Position is in North Chicago, Illinois (near Waukegan, not to be confused with the North Side of Chicago). Reliable transportation is required.
