Job Description

Ace Ford is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. This front-line role supports both customers and the dealership team, handling a variety of cashier and clerical duties.

Work Requirements

  Work Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week – evenings and Saturdays (flexible)

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately

  
  


• 
  

  Greet customers and process all sales transactions (cash, checks, credit cards, electronic payments)

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain an Excel spreadsheet of all sales transactions

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain dealer tag log and follow up on unreturned tags

  
  


• 
  

  Issue purchase orders and manage gas card usage

  
  


• 
  

  Distribute vehicle tags and registration, obtaining signed receipts from customers

  
  


• 
  

  Perform scanning, shredding, and general clerical duties

  
  


• 
  

  Keep the customer lounge clean, stocked, and presentable (including coffee supplies)

  
  


• 
  

  Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong data entry skills with attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer functions

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Professional, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy environment

  High school diploma or equivalent

  Must be available for nights and Saturdays
