Part-Time Center Associate

Job Summary:
The UPS Store - Murfreesboro is looking for a Part Time Center Associate to join their team. The Part Time Center Associate will provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with a variety of transactions including package handling and shipping, as well as receipt of incoming packages.

Compensation & Benefits:
The pay for this position is between $12.50 and $16.00 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, part time associates may be eligible for other benefits and discounts, depending on the store.

Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries in a timely manner
• Package and ship customer orders in accordance with UPS guidelines
• Receive and process incoming packages
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate shipping and packaging options
• Process payment by credit card or cash
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Knowledge of shipping, billing and other customer service related processes
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods
