Part Time Commissioned Security Officer

What You'll Do:

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by:

• Monitoring assigned posts and remaining alert to changing conditions 
• Conducting scheduled patrols of client property 
• Controlling access to authorized personnel and visitors 
• Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activity 
• Preparing accurate written reports and communicating important information to clients and supervisors 
• Contacting law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary 
• Providing exceptional customer service while representing SafeHaven Security Group with professionalism 

Schedule:

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week.Scheduled shifts:  Tuesday's and Friday's

What We're Looking For:

Successful candidates are dependable, professional, and exercise sound judgment in a variety of situations. They communicate effectively, remain calm under pressure, and are committed to providing outstanding service to our clients.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age 
• High school diploma or GED required 
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
• Ability to pass state and FBI background checks 
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening 
• Military, law enforcement, or prior commissioned security experience is preferred, but not required 
• Must successfully complete SafeHaven Security Group's required training program upon hire
