General Summary

The Courier handles pickups and deliveries of various banking items at branches and for clients as needed. Operates a Bank vehicle between locations. Performs routine maintenance on vehicles as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Scheduled pick-ups and deliveries of Bank items between branches utilizing company vehicles

· Scheduled pick-ups and deliveries at customer locations, if applicable

· Monitor Bank vehicles for maintenance and cleanliness

· Ensure Bank vehicles are fueled at the end of each shift

· Has an inherent duty and responsibility to make recommendations to the supervisor concerning the possible methods to improve the route

· Run postage machine, ensuring appropriate funds availability. 

· Reports need for postage machine funding to AVP Loss Prevention / Fraud Manager as needed

· Additional responsibilities as assigned.

· Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.

· Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Courier Role preferred

Licenses & Designations

• Current, valid, Michigan Driver’s license, with zero points

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle efficiently
• Ability to operate a PC to input receipts and expense reports or other projects, as needed
