Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and community-minded Part-Time Delivery Driver to support our school-based after-school programs. This role is an important part of ensuring our programs are set up for success by delivering supplies safely and on time to local school sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in reliability, safety, and contributing to positive outcomes for students.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate our courier van to deliver supplies and materials to designated locations.


• Load and unload items using proper safe handling techniques.


• Follow established routes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.


• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with school staff, partners, and recipients.


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards.


• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records.


• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with a pristinely clean driving record.


• Ability to pass a background check.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment


• Basic familiarity with computer use, including email and spreadsheets to update work completed or communicate with team members.

Preferred:

• Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier operations.


• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.


• Experience in warehouse work, including heavy lifting and moving supplies.


• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures and heavy lifting techniques.

This role operates in both an office and public school environment. Tentative hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm.
