Part-Time Direct Support Professional- Res Hab

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Direct Support Professional to join our team!

Applicant Must:

• Provide different levels of support to people with disabilities to meet their needs


• Demonstrate ability to approach challenging situations with a calm approach


• Must be an eligible driver for RRHSF (at least 25 years old, valid driver's license, & driven for 5+ years)


• Be dependable, reliable, and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings


• Be willing to assist with personal cares


• Be able to complete ongoing paid training requirements


• Pass medications

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, shopping, hygiene, banking etc.)


• Assist with community events (concerts, sporting events, Special Olympics, Adult learning classes, casino trips, parties, dances, etc.)


• Support people to achieve their personal goals

Available hours include morning shifts (630a-9/10a), evening shifts (3p-9p/10p), and weekends (8a-4p, 4p-10p).  

Every other weekend is required.  Every other holiday is required.  

Wage and compensation:

• $18.00 hour/DOE!


• Opportunity for a $0.50 wage increase after the first 90 days of employment
