Part-Time Dishwasher

The Company: Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009. We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living services, memory care, and skilled nursing services.

We have two kitchens: one that serves our memory care and skilled nursing facility and one that serves our independent and assisted living residents. Dishwasher applicants may work in one or both of these kitchens, depending on schedule availability.

Shifts: Part-time; additional shifts may be available in the future for interested candidates.

• 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Mon-Sat (exact days to be discussed in interview depending on candidate availability)

Job Description: We're looking for friendly and dependable individuals to join our team in providing excellent care for our senior residents. As a dishwasher at Meadowbrook Village, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Display teamwork and professionalism, with a caring attitude toward our residents


• Display enthusiasm for cleanliness of the dishes and the workspace


• Use appropriate sanitation procedures when washing and cleaning


• Other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef

Qualifications: To carry out these responsibilities successfully, candidates should have the following qualities:

• Available to work on holidays


• Able to pass a fingerprinted criminal background check (No prior convictions, no exceptions)


• Able to pass a health screening, TB test and drug test


• Able to lift at least 40 lbs. and work on your feet


• Able to bend, stretch, pull, push, etc. as needed for dish washing tasks


• Maintain great punctuality and attendance
