Part-Time Driver

Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Part-Time Driver that will work as part of a team to drive vehicles for employees, visitors, and VIP’s to and from the Mount Pleasant site. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Security Department in a manufacturing environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career.

The Part-Time Driver will drive designated routes, load and unload the vehicle as needed, and assist this Security Department as needed. Shifts we have available are as follows: 

• Monday-Friday: 6:30am-10:30am
• Monday-Friday: 6:00pm-10:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Drives vehicle(s) for employees, visitors, and VIPs
• Observe, and monitor for unusual traffic conditions; and assist client(s)
• Conduct reconnaissance and advance work as needed
• Drive established routes designed by the Director of Safety and Security (DOSS)
• Cleans and refuels vehicles as needed
• Use sound judgment under adverse, and stressful conditions
• Maintain mileage and maintenance logs
• Work in partnership with GM’s Office, General Services, and Facilities Teams
• Load and unload the vehicle as needed
• Obey traffic laws at all times (no exceptions)
• Communicate all conflicts or vehicle maintenance issues with DOSS
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by DOSS
• Must be flexible on schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be flexible with work duties and responsibilities as this role supports many departments 
• Must be comfortable with driving large vehicles such as a sprinter van or large SUV
• Experience as a professional driver or former law enforcement/military preferred
• Possession of valid driver's license is required
• Applicant MUST provide state issued driving record or abstract for review by DOSS
• No Criminal OWI/DUI or Reckless Driving Citations/Convictions in last 5 years
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications (company will provide)

Physical Requirements & Mental Demands Include:

• Medium physical effort required. Will handle an average-weight of objects that are 25-50 pounds.
• This position requires walking, standing, and repetitive bending throughout the day; must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
• Specific vision abilities are required including; close and distance vision, the ability to identify colors, hand/eye coordination, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
