PART-TIME EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Status: Part-Time Hourly Wage: $35.34 to $43.30 per hour DOQ

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Assistant City Manager, the Emergency Management Coordinator manages the development, administration, and operations of the City of Holladay’s emergency management program with city departments, governmental agencies, private organizations, and volunteer groups.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Employee(s) in this position perform in a typical office setting with appropriate climate control. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, not generally involving muscular strain, such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting, and reaching. Occasional physical exertion is required during set-up of special events. Talking, hearing, and seeing are required in the normal course of performing the job. Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity is required to perform essential functions. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, and creative problem solving. Periodic local travel is required in the course of performing portions of job functions. Required to work after hours/weekends when deemed necessary.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position is eligible for remote work up to 20% of 20 hours weekly after mandatory in-person, 6-month probationary period. Work from home requires access to a reliable internet connection.
