Part-time evening Delivery Driver (Box Truck)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Hours: 5pm-10pm (or until duties are complete)

Primary Objective/Scope: Responsible for delivering bulk orders to our branch locations. Also  selecting correct items and quantities for Branch and customers orders.  Load orders onto delivery trucks. Delivering complete orders to customers and/or GEM branches.  

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Deliver products via truck on an assigned route
• Select/pull orders as assigned
• Load delivery trucks
• Assist with putting received product away
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to interact with customers and represent Gem Supply Company in a positive manner. Adequate reading skills and ability to write legibly. Must be able to operate pallet jacks and other related material handing equipment.

Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (CDL not required).

Experience Required: High School diploma or equivalent education and work experience.

Physical Requirements: Driving, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, manipulation of material handling equipment.
