We are seeking an experienced AI for Managers Expert with deep expertise in logistics and transportation to design and deliver practical, non-technical training for business leaders navigating AI adoption. This is a part-time remote instructor role (10-15 hours/week) focused on helping managers understand how to implement AI initiatives effectively—bridging the gap between strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate is a former consultant, IT Director, or Digital Transformation Lead who has actually led AI projects from a managerial perspective, not an engineer who codes AI systems. You've been the person who made AI adoption happen in real organizations, dealing with vendors, teams, budgets, and change management—not just theory.

Develop and deliver curriculum that teaches managers how to scope, prioritize, and govern AI initiatives without requiring deep technical knowledge

Create practical frameworks for translating business needs into AI opportunities, evaluating vendors and solutions, and designing successful pilots and rollouts

Teach change management strategies specifically for AI adoption, including team enablement, resistance management, and internal communication approaches

Share real-world case studies from logistics and transportation environments, with emphasis on LATAM or Panama-based organizational realities where applicable

Guide managers through implementation challenges including defining KPIs, measuring impact, reporting outcomes to leadership, and learning from failed initiatives

Focus on the "how" of AI adoption: vendor selection, phased rollouts, cross-functional alignment, responsible AI governance, and scaling successful pilots

Adapt content for experienced business leaders who need practical execution guidance rather than theoretical AI concepts or technical training

Provide actionable frameworks for process automation, workflow optimization, decision support systems, and enterprise AI platform adoption

Facilitate discussions on what works, what fails, and why—drawing from your direct implementation experience

Professional Experience

  • 7+ years in consulting, IT leadership, digital transformation, or innovation management
  • Direct experience leading AI initiatives from a managerial perspective (not as data scientist/ML engineer)
  • Proven track record managing AI projects: vendor selection, pilots, rollouts, change management
  • Cross-functional leadership coordinating across operations, IT, finance, HR, and vendors

Industry & Implementation Focus

  • Strong preference for logistics, transportation, or export-driven operations experience
  • Hands-on AI adoption experience: process automation, workflow optimization, decision support systems
  • Real examples of AI implementations—what worked, what failed, and why
  • Understanding of LATAM organizational realities highly valued (ideally based in Panama or LATAM)

Teaching & Communication

  • Experience training managers and business leaders (not just technical teams)
  • Ability to adapt content for experienced professionals who need execution guidance
  • Strong remote presentation and facilitation skills
  • Spanish proficiency strongly preferred for LATAM market reach

Practical Requirements

  • Availability: 10-15 hours/week for content development and course delivery
  • Remote work capability with professional setup
  • Regular use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) in your own workflow
