O Bee Credit Union is hiring a Part-Time Facilities Coordinator to join our amazing team. This is a part-time role that plays a vital part in supporting our mission, our Members, and our one-of-a-kind company culture.

What You’ll Do

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the efficient maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the credit union’s administrative and branch locations. This includes managing service requests, coordinating vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and supporting a safe, clean, and functional work environment for team members and Members. The role requires a proactive and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters across seven locations, including being available on-call for emergency requests.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and service requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, and general building maintenance.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks to keep facilities functional and looking professional, including light painting and repairs including cabinet doors, hinges, door handles, wall plates, and light bulbs.
  • Maintain and monitor vendor contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective services that are performed in accordance with contracts, service level agreements, work orders, and budgets.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and implementation schedules.
  • Review documentation provided by vendors for accuracy and completeness.
  • Schedule and supervise work performed by contractors and vendors, verifying quality and compliance and monitoring progress toward completion.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of all facilities to identify issues, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage facility and maintenance work order system; track and prioritize requests from team members, keeping stakeholders appropriately informed of progress.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility projects and renovations.
  • Monitor utilities and recommend cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of fixed assets, building floorplans/”as builts”, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain and track use of fleet vehicles, schedule and track maintenance, keep vehicles clean, and coordinate needed repairs.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and response and serve on the Safety Committee.
  • Assist with space planning, furniture moves, and general office support as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What Desired Qualifications You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Clean driving record to use fleet vehicles (required)
  • Six months to two years of maintenance experience such as hanging pictures, patching holes, light painting (required)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Chrome browser)
  • Scheduling experience

The Details

  • Location: Tumwater, Washington
  • Pay range: $20.62-$30.93 per hour, depending on experience
  • Recruitment will remain open until the position is filled
