JOB DESCRIPTION: Part-time Facilities Helper

PURPOSE: To support our weekday needs in the facilities department at our West End Campus. The facilities helper will assist with setting up for services, breaking down rooms if needed and cleaning up after services. This is a GREAT opportunity for college students! This is a Part Time position that requires some mechanical skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Part Time Schedule: Mon - Thurs 8a-12p(hours are flexible), Sun 7a-2p


• Light custodial duties including grounds cleanup.


• Provide event support, set-up and demo for The Westend Campus and The Coffee House venue.


• Must conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner while performing maintenance or repair work in publicly accessible areas, including The Coffee House, maintaining a clean work area and minimizing disruption to guests and staff.


• Light maintenance on HVAC Rooftop units such as changing belts and filters and rinsing coils. 


• Light Plumbing skills such as clearing stoppages, changing flush valves, etc.


• Requires the use of pressure washing equipment, leaf blowers and some small power tools.


• Must be able to lift 50lbs.


• Must be proactive, self motivating, and work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.


• Must have the ability to recognize operational needs and maintain workload in a given work schedule. 


• Must have reliable transportation.
