Part-Time Facilities Technician

Position Summary:
Rise Academy is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Facilities Technician to ensure the ongoing maintenance, safety, and operational functionality of our school campus. The technician will be responsible for maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, conducting routine inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
   
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on plumbing and electrical systems.
   
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and facility inspections.
   
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
   
• Maintain school grounds, including minor landscaping and seasonal upkeep.
   
• Ensure the campus complies with building codes, safety standards, and school policies.
   
• Monitor inventory of supplies and submit purchase requests for maintenance materials.
   
• Collaborate with school administration on maintenance schedules and building needs.
   
• Assist with setup and breakdown of school events and activities as needed.
   

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.  
• 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred.  
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.  
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents is a plus.  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.  
• Flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
