Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you thrive in a dynamic and nurturing environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time Child Care Teacher to join our vibrant team at the Rockland Harbor YMCA.

As a Child Care Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and shape the minds of our little ones. Your creativity, energy, and dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of our children and their families. Our center serves children as young as 6 weeks old through Pre-K.

What You'll Do:

• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
• Assist in developing and implementing engaging curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assist in Observing and assessing children's progress, and communicate effectively with parents about their child's development.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and enriching learning environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
