About the Role:

Join Wayne Early Learning Center as a Part-time Floater in our vibrant childcare setting! This role is perfect for those passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Support teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.

Engage with children in play, arts and crafts, and educational games.

Assist in maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.

Supervise children during outdoor play and field trips.

Provide care and support to children with various needs.

Communicate effectively with parents and staff about children's progress.

Adapt to different classrooms and age groups as needed.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.

Experience working in a childcare or educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.

Background check and clearances required.
