Title Gate Attendant 

Status/Class Hourly

MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Supervise all activities involving the main property gate, anyone entering and exiting of the property 

Duties and responsibilities

1. Ensure all the members entering the property are acknowledged and have the correct vehicle sticker 

2. Provide help to members’ guests in getting to the correct location when arriving for an event 

3. Ensures that the only people entering the property are employees with the correct car tags, vendors and members 

4. Ensure that no authorized member of the public enters the property to take pictures 

5. Ensures to have the correct information during large events 

6. Ensure to learn guests’ names if possible 

7. Inspects areas around the gate daily and during your shift 

8. Performs emergency duties in the event of hurricane, fire, accident or other disaster. 

9. Maintains the gate area clean 

10. Reports any issues to the manager of duty in a timely manner 

11. Always be professional to everyone and know when to call for support 

12. Reports feedback from Members or guests to Waterfront Director or any misconduct of crew members. 

13. Attends staff meetings. 

14. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Waterfront Director. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. 

• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. 

• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. 

• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. 

• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling. 

• Push, pull or lift 50 pounds.
