Part-Time Housekeeper

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, cleaning floors(sweep, dust mop, or mop), offices, cafeteria seating areas, private offices and conference rooms, locker rooms, glass cleaning, as well as general duties included but not limited to restocking paper products like roll towel dispensers, toilet paper dispensers, soap dispenser, vacuuming, carpet cleaning and some walk behind scrubber work. Also garbage and recycling collecting and disposal as well as other tasks as assigned. All Packaging employees must: Follow and comply with all food safety and quality policies. Report any food safety issues or concerns to the Site Leadership Team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  

Candidates should have previous independent cleaning experience and general maintenance experience.   Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, work with a variety of cleaning chemicals and work unsupervised. Must have an eye for detail and be able to determine cleanliness or maintenance issues in a room.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Manual Dexterity: Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some closely coordinated performance.

Physical Effort: Work requires handling light weight materials or equipment with no special speed or exertion. (Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).

Working Conditions: Ordinary office, shop, field, or warehouse working conditions with some slightly disagreeable features.

Hazards: Negligible. Little or no exposure to hazards.
