Location: Starpoint, Canon City, CO
Schedule: Part-Time minimum 20-29 hours per week Monday-Thursday

SUMMARY

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping others? We are looking for a Part-Time Information Technology (IT) Technician to support our agency's IT infrastructure in a person-centered environment. In this role, you will assist with system maintenance, user support, hardware/software installations, and network troubleshooting, while helping employees to stay productive and connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support computer systems, hardware, software, printers, cameras, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with the configuration and upkeep of ethernet networks, network cabling, electronic access controls, and surveillance systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues or coordinate off-site repairs as needed.
• Provide technical training to staff and support smooth transitions to new software systems.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve IT-related operational problems efficiently.
• Support the deployment and configuration of new systems and applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ months of relevant experience or Certificate in IT and 1+ year of relevant experience
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must obtain Colorado license within 10 days if from out-of-state).
• Must pass background check, drug/alcohol screening, reference check, and motor vehicle check.
• Current vehicle insurance is required.
• Must live within a 20-mile radius of the agency’s main administrative      office.
• Comfortable with lifting, installing, and configuring IT hardware.
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic networking concepts
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
