Part-Time Inventory Control Inspector

Turbine Engine Consultants, Inc. Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Inspector will support the day-to-day activities and duties within a very high-volume Shipping and Receiving Department at Turbine Engine Consultants, Inc. This individual performs receipt of, shipment of, and issuance of aviation parts, products, and supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•  Verify incoming shipments of parts and shop supplies using applicable documents
•  Maintain a clean, professional, and organized warehouse
•  Track and document all incoming and outgoing shipments
•  Receiving, signing, and unloading deliveries from trucks
•  Organizing and storing received items in appropriate area
•  Updating the Inventory Management System with received items
•  Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
•  Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists
•  Picking, packing, and shipping of multiple orders daily - domestic, and international
•  Palletizing shipments
•  Performs Haz-Mat (Hazardous Materials) identification, storage, & transportation
•  Provides backup support for other positions and job functions in the department
•  Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
•  Must have a valid driver's license
•  Experience in a related field preferred
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Must be able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, or the willingness to learn
•  Computer skills and knowledge of data entry
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment paying special attention to detail

Education and Experience:
•  High school diploma or equivalent 

Physical Requirements:
•  Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
•  Must be able to ascend and descend ladders
•  Moving about to accomplish tasks from one workstation to another throughout most of the day
