Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner

We are seeking responsible part-time custodians to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants, so it is essential for custodians to be thorough and attentive in their cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will have strong physical endurance to cover assigned areas and a keen eye for detail. Must be able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces

• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

• Wash and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels)

• Clean mirrors, windows, and other surfaces

• Report major damages and assist in overseeing repairs

• Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows, and setting alarms

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or similar role preferred

• Knowledge of safe chemical disposal and handling of hazardous materials

• Strong attention to detail and conscientious work ethic

• Good physical condition and stamina

• High school diploma preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
