Part-time Kelley Automotive Group Auction Driver

Department: Central Sourcing 

Functions: To drive vehicles as needed between stores and to the auctions. 

Relationships: Reports to the Vice-President of Pre-Owned Inventory and the Director of Acquisitions and Logistics. 

Responsibilities and Authority:

• Drive vehicles between stores and to the auctions.
• Verify serial numbers of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Safely drive and park cars on Kelley lots and other lots.
• Professionally represent the Kelley Group at all times.
• Maintain the appearance of the vehicles driven.
• Abide by all traffic laws at all times.
• An “on-call” position.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management. 

Qualifications:

Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. High School diploma or the equivalent. Computer knowledge preferred. Professional personal appearance. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required. Able to lift 25 lbs. repeatedly. Must be at least 21 years or older. 

Working Conditions:

Will spend time outdoors year round. Weekend and/or holiday hours may be required. Must be available and “on-call” at the convenience of the manager. Required to stand, stoop, lift, push, pull, kneel, crouch and reach repeatedly during the shift. Will interact responsibly with hazardous materials. Will be exposed to noise, dust, fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials during shift.
