Job Description - Part Time Lead Teacher

Do you have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for guiding young learners? Join our team at Trailblazer Academy, where we believe in nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Lead Teacher to join our growing childcare center. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator who values a warm, supportive work environment and is excited to help build a strong foundation for lifelong learning in a part time afternoon position. We are looking to cover our afternoon hours of 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Collaborate with teachers and staff to uphold our program values

Relieve other classroom teachers during breaks and transitions

Assist with end-of-day routines, including cleaning and resetting classrooms

🎓 Required Qualifications:

Colorado Lead Teacher Certification

Experience in early childhood education

CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and classroom management skills
