RECRUITMENT DESCRIPTION:
The City of Ellensburg has a vacancy for a part-time, on-call Library Substitute.
The person in this position assists with the day-to-day operation of the library including circulation, reference, youth services, material processing, special programming, and public computer use; provide information, guidance and assistance to patrons. Performs miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor.
As a substitute there is no standard schedule or guaranteed number of hours; days/hours will vary and will include weekends and evenings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
PLEASE NOTE: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the listed requirements as determined by Management.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
BENEFITS: This is a non-represented, on-call/substitute position that does not receive benefits except for accruing paid sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every paid forty (40) hours worked. Employees are eligible to begin using accrued paid sick leave on the ninetieth (90th) calendar day after the commencement of employment.
