Job Description - Part Time Marketing Assistant

Job Title: Part Time Marketing Assistant

Location: Chick-fil-A of Burlington: Huffman Mill FSU and University Commons FSU

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Typical Schedule: Primarily evening shifts and open availability on Saturdays- to support scheduled events and marketing activities.

Reports To: Marketing Director / Owner-Operator

Job Summary:

The Marketing Assistant helps bring Chick-fil-A’s brand to life through engaging local marketing initiatives and community events. This role supports the planning and execution of restaurant events such as Family Night, Bingo, and other themed promotions while assisting with social media content, community partnerships, and guest engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, and highly organized—passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and strengthening Chick-fil-A’s connection with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, setup, and execution of in-store and community events (e.g., Family Nights, Bingo, and seasonal promotions).
  • Assist with event coordination tasks including setup, cleanup, and guest engagement.
  • Help create and manage engaging social media content consistent with Chick-fil-A’s brand voice.
  • Capture photos and videos during events for marketing and social media use.
  • Assist with community partnerships, school events, donations, and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain organized event materials, supplies, and promotional items.
  • Represent Chick-fil-A with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a guest-first mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing and personable, with strong communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Available for evening and occasional weekend events.
  • Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 36 lbs for event setup and materials.
