Part-Time Mechanic

About the role

• ParTee Shack is on the lookout for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our team at our Greensboro location! As a Part-Time Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in keeping go-karts in top shape– ensuring they’re safe, fast, and fun for all our guests. Location: Greensboro, NC
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18–$21 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience
Pay Schedule: Paid every Friday
Age Requirement: Must be 18 or older
Availability: Must be available to work weekends

What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on go-karts and small engines
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Provide excellent customer when interacting with patrons
• Track and document all maintenance activities and repairs

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a mechanic; HVAC technician experience is a plus
• Familiarity with small engines and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
