Part Time Medical Director (Ohio)

Full Job Description

Local Infusion is seeking a Part Time Medical Director to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a leading provider of infusion services, Local Infusion aims to offer quality care patients with chronic autoimmune diseases on specialty medications.

The Part Time Medical Director will perform a variety of duties, including chart auditing, policy development and approval, and developing treatment plans in conjunction with local referring providers.

This a remote position, and you can work on your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Chart auditing to ensure compliance with company policies

• Development of policies and procedures when appropriate

• Developing treatment plans in conjunction with local referring providers.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure up-to-date knowledge of infusion drugs.

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards of healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Active Ohio MD license; and DEA License

• Specialty in Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and their families.

• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Commitment to ethical and legal healthcare delivery.
