JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College/Unit of Penn State York is seeking applicants for part-time job of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach.

Job Duties

• Fulfill duties, responsibilities and tasks as assigned by head coach.
• Design and Execute Practice plans as assigned.
• Game Day duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of basketball.
• Ability to teach and relate to college age athletes.

Schedule:

• Approximately 20-25 hours weekly.
• Ability to be flexible.
• Ability to travel overnight - multiple nights at times may be required.

Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $3000.00 per season paid pro-rated monthly.

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
