Part-Time Nanny Needed for Wonderful Family in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village

A warm and welcoming family in Ukrainian Village is seeking a reliable, caring part-time nanny to join them long term and help care for their two children (ages 5 and almost 3). The position is Monday through Friday, 2:00–6:30 PM, with some flexibility on the start time.

The family is looking for a nanny who is open to assisting with household tasks when the children are at school or otherwise occupied. The ideal candidate lives within a reasonable distance, has a flexible schedule to occasionally accommodate the parents’ work commitments, and is open to occasional overnight stays when the parents travel for work. Being bilingual in Spanish and/or French is a bonus. A personal vehicle is required for this role, and the family will provide car seats for transporting the children.

Start date: First week of August - between August 4-8

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the children from school in Lincoln Park
• Drive them to and from local activities
• Provide snacks after school or camp
• Help with family laundry and change bedding once a week
• Encourage and support the kids in tidying up after themselves
