Part Time Nanny – Chicago, IL 

A family in Chicago, IL 60641 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny for their two children, ages 2 and 7 years old. 

Schedule:

• Start Date:Aug 4, 2026


• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM CT (12 hours/week)


• **Opportunity for additional babysitting, weekend, overnight, and future hours

Family Specifications:

• Smoke free home


• Pet free home

Responsibilities:

• School pickup and transportation to activities/home


• Supervision, play, and age-appropriate activities


• Prepare healthy snacks and simple dinners (food allergy aware)


• Evening and bedtime routines


• Light child-related housekeeping (kitchen and common areas used during the shift)


• Ensure the children's safety and well-being

Requirements:

• Previous professional childcare experience required


• First Aid/CPR certifications required


• Must be able to reliably commute with a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle capable of transporting two children


• Proactive, dependable, trustworthy, and punctual demeanor

Preferred:

• Open to occasional overnight and weekend care is a plus

Compensation:

• $26 - $28/hour


• Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate
