Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm, easygoing family spending the summer in Seattle while Dad plays for a local sports team. Mom works in the veterinary field and keeps a flexible schedule, so we’re looking for a nanny who’s equally adaptable and can roll with the week-to-week flow. Our two boys are active, curious, and love spending time outdoors, one is a true adventurer, and the other is all about wheels and movement. Our home environment is safety-conscious and outdoorsy, and we appreciate a nanny who can keep the kids engaged, tidy up after play, and help us maintain a fun and supportive daily rhythm.

A bit about you: You’re reliable, playful, and great at finding ways to keep little ones busy and learning. You’re confident managing two young children, especially one who’s a bit of a climber, and you know how to gently steer high energy into safe, enriching activities. You’re the kind of person who is a self-starter able to spot ways to help such as tidying up as you go, folding a load of kid laundry without being asked, and doesn’t mind letting our two friendly dogs out in the yard when you see them waiting by the back door. Above all, you bring warmth, attentiveness, and initiative to your work—and you’re comfortable signing a non-disclosure agreement to protect our family’s privacy.

Job Duties: This position is focused on childcare with light household support. You’ll engage in fun, developmentally appropriate activities, supervise indoor and outdoor play, prepare and serve meals and snacks, and help keep play areas and the children’s spaces tidy. Other typical tasks include folding kids’ laundry, putting together simple lunches from pre-prepped ingredients, and occasionally letting the dogs out. Nap time is part of the daily routine, and both children are easy to put down. We’ll provide a flexible schedule in advance each month, with the potential for occasional full-day or evening coverage.

Start Date: Last week of May
Duration: Through the end of September (end of the sports season.) Potential for extension should we not get transferred to another team.
Location: Bellevue, WA, 98008
Position Highlights:

Guaranteed 60 hours per month.
Accrued paid sick time.

Qualifications:

Multiple years of experience working with toddlers and preschoolers.
CPR Certified.
Comfortable around dogs.
Willing to sign an NDA prior to receiving identifying details or meeting in person
Glowing references from recent nanny positions.

Set yourself apart: A background in early childhood education or experience with energetic toddlers is a plus. If you're outdoorsy, love planning creative activities, or have a knack for creating structure in flexible environments, you’ll thrive in this role.

Schedule: Part-time, flexible schedule averaging 15 hours per week (approximately 60 hours/month).

Typical shifts will be 9:30am–3:00pm two to three days per week.
Occasional full-day or evening shifts for events.
We are happy to coordinate monthly schedules in advance.

Pay: $35-40
