Part Time Nanny for Vienna, VA (Fairfax County) Family #PT0012

Part Time live-out Nanny/House Manager required for a Vienna, VA family with two young children starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties as well as overall household management (when kids are in school). General tidying, family laundry, managing food/household item inventory list and preparing meals is expected with this role, with an expected 50% split between household and hands-on childcare duties. To be successful in this busy home you will need to be proactive, independent, open to feedback and highly organized. The family is looking for a long term partnership with a nanny who is positive, open minded, engaged and values direct and efficient communication.

An engaged, hard working and positive Nanny would be an ideal match for this family - with multitasking, strong attention to detail and common sense/good judgment essential. A second language is strongly preferred, however the family will consider all qualified candidates.

Location: Vienna, VA (Fairfax County)

Start date: ASAP

Days/times: Family open to guaranteeing 20-30 hours/week with general hours expected Monday through Friday, with hours landing between 11 - 5pm. Flexibility is desired with availability to accommodate weekly date nights, some weekends and the possibility of domestic travel.

Children: Two children (born 2020, 2023). Both children are in school half days currently, with the older child starting Kindergarten in Fall 2025.

Conditions: $30 - $40 per hour* plus sick/personal days, vacation, public holidays and a healthcare stipend. *dependent on experience and other considerations.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience working with children
• A well-suited demeanor for working with toddlers and school age children
• Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality and professionalism
• Ability to complete all child related duties
• Experience in household management + organization
• Interest and excitement in providing home cooked (mostly plant based and lean proteins) meals for the family
• An open and flexible schedule - date nights and some weekends.
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
