Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Bellevue

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 am - 1:30 pm; Guaranteed 18 hours/week; occasional (at least once per month) date nights appreciated; potential for additional hours during the school year if nanny is available
• Hourly Rate: $25-28
• Children: 10-year-old, 6-year-old, 4-year-old, 2-year-old, and baby due this summer
• Pets: One Fish
• Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 2-3 paid holidays; prorated to part-time hours

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Are you an active, outdoorsy nanny who loves a schedule and can gel with children of multiple age groups? This easy-going family of (almost) seven has a heart as big as their table reservation at Red Robin! And they’re saving two seats, one for a baby who’s joining mid-summer, and one for YOU. Because their goal is to partner with a nanny who’ll be like family and stay with them for years! Mom and Dad won’t be too far, and you’ll support them Monday to Wednesday and on Friday from 9 am to 1:30 pm. Primarily, you’ll assist with the incoming baby, two-year-old big sis, and her four-year-old brother. You’ll read to them, play pretend, go to the park, and you better love tulle, because tutus and bows are permanently on this dress code. The two older brothers are six and ten. Also avid readers, they’re pretty independent and incredibly close buddies, playing video games and building projects together. Occasionally, you’ll do crafts or play a game of catch with them. Put your rod away, can’t you see the “No Fishing” sign? One friendly fish is this home’s only pet; he keeps pretty quiet in his fishbowl and won’t add to your duties. You’ll also rarely have to drive anywhere, and when you do for outings to the local library or museum (the family has a membership!), you can use the family’s vehicle. Your help with the children’s laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, and light dinner prep will be greatly appreciated. During the summer, a couple of the kiddos will be frequently away at summer camp, and then preschool joins the mix, so you’ll rarely have all the children at once under your care. The family will likely be relocating to the Wexford area by the end of this year, so please keep this commute in mind.
