A bit about us:
We’re a thoughtful, trustworthy family of 5, including our Goldendoodle, Abby. My wife and I are busy, hardworking parents who sometimes work from home. We’re open-minded and we don’t judge a book by its cover. We are both a bit cerebral and have realized we could really use some help making sure our day-to-day runs smoothly.

Our 8-year-old daughter is very creative! She is very sweet, playful, and empathetic. She loves arts and crafts, dance, and pretend play. She recently did her 1^st play!

Our 5-year-old son is passionate and throws himself into activities. He’s currently in a phase where he’s blaming others when he’s upset; he can also be silly, energetic, and fun. Both of our kids love Legos, going to the park, and riding their scooters, the arcade, and mini golf!

A bit about you:
You are proactive, organized, and a good problem solver. You are punctual, and you don’t have to wait for direction to take the reins and see what needs to be done. You have a gift for redirecting children when you say no, and can set boundaries. You are engaging, friendly, and supportive; working with children is your happy place. You are comfortable making family dinner and encouraging picky eaters to expand their horizons.

Job Duties:
After-school pick-ups and driving children to extracurricular activities in your vehicle (car seats provided), playing make-believe, building Legos, doing art projects, engaging both children’s interests, trips to the park, ensuring safety, snack prep, simple dinner meal prep/cooking for the family, redirecting children, light tidying of kitchen, living room and children’s rooms, light household tasks, and children’s laundry.

Qualifications: 2-5 years of childcare experience (ideally have been a nanny prior), a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable vehicle that can fit car seats, CPR certification or willing to get, comfortable in a home with a hypoallergenic dog, organization skills, and able to follow a recipe for a simple meal.

Set yourself apart:
You enjoy cooking and have a knack for introducing picky eaters to new foods, and or you are open to helping with additional household tasks such as grocery shopping.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (2:30-7:30p)
Starting ASAP!

Pay: $25-$35 an hour

**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
