Job Description - Part-Time Nanny/Home Manager for 3 children

A bit about us:
            We are a lively and busy family of five! Mom is originally from North Dakota, and Dad hails from Wisconsin. We have three wonderful kids: a 15-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old girl. Our household is rounded out by two beloved pets—a sweet cat and a dog. As a family, we’re laid-back and adaptable, easily going with the flow when plans change. We love spending our weekends together, enjoying activities like bowling, mini-golf, and even the occasional karaoke night! We’ve had fantastic caregivers in the past, and with Dad starting a new job, we’re looking for some evening help to keep our busy schedule on track.

A bit about you:
            This is where you come in! We are searching for a highly organized and reliable nanny/ home manager who can easily adapt and go with the flow. The day-to-day schedule will remain the same, but the daily needs will change from day to day, so flexibility and adaptability are a must-have. We value experience and would like to see at least a few years prior of nannying and home management experience. We want someone who is a go-getter and can come in and know what needs to be done. You should have a clean driving record and a vehicle suitable for transporting the children safely. As an easygoing family, we're looking for a nanny who shares our relaxed yet proactive approach!

Job Duties:
            The day begins around noon with general home manager tasks such as meal prepping, daily tidying, seasonal wardrobe changes for the kids, running errands, taking the dog for a walk etc. Later in the afternoon, when the children arrive home from the bus between 3:30 and 3:45 PM, you will be there to greet them, assist with choosing and preparing their snacks, and help them get started on their homework or study time. Afterward, you’ll begin preparing dinner for the children and help them get ready for their evening activities. Your role will include transporting the kids to and from their activities and ensuring they get home safely. On days without scheduled activities, having a fun and engaging plan ready for the children would be a great bonus!

Position Highlights: Guaranteed 25 weekly hours
Qualifications: Organized, easygoing, reliable, and fun!
Set yourself apart: Speak Chinese or French (children are learning it!), play soccer, and/or have experience with tutoring.
Schedule: Starting ASAP, Monday to Thursday from 12 pm-7 pm, ideally for a year or longer.
