Part Time Nanny/House Manager – Westfield, NJ

A family in Westfield, NJ 07090, is seeking a reliable and engaging caregiver to support their nearly 4-year-old child and assist with household management. The family is looking for a proactive individual who can foster the child's interests in crafts, reading, and music, while also keeping the home organized and occasionally providing companionship to a grandmother who lives in the home.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM


• Saturday and Sunday: As needed


• Start Date: ASAP

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home


• Pet-free home


• Multigenerational household


• Child enjoys crafts, reading, and music

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the child with personal care, including bathing and dressing


• Potty assistance


• Planning meals, preparing food, and feeding the child


• Engaging the child with educational activities, arts and crafts, and homework help


• Arranging playdates and outings


• Administering medication when necessary


• Providing companion care for the grandmother as time allows


• Providing transportation to and from school, outside activities, and medical appointments


• Performing light housekeeping and family laundry


• Organizing the home and running errands

Requirements:

• Relevant nanny and household management experience


• Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle to use for transportation duties (a gas stipend/reimbursement will be provided by the family)

Compensation:

• $17–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)
