Part-time Nurse Practitioner for Behavioral Health Center located in Walnut Creek, CA

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Nurse Practitioner for a mission-driven behavioral health organization expanding its Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services across multiple Northern California sites, including Clayton, Pittsburg, Concord, and Oakland, CA.

LOCATION:

Our client provides behavioral health services across various outpatient clinics in Northern California, including locations in Clayton, Pittsburg, Concord, and Oakland.

The Nurse Practitioner must be willing and able to travel daily across these assigned sites.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

• Part-time (20 hours/week) schedule available
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend work required
• Flexible scheduling offered

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel between multiple clinic locations to provide MAT services
• Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up care
• Prescribe medications in line with addiction treatment protocols
• Complete and review intake documentation (e.g., DHCS Client Care Questionnaire)
• Coordinate with site physicians and clinical leads to ensure continuity of care
• Follow standards set by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS)
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of California
• Valid DEA registration
• Willingness and ability to travel daily across multiple clinic sites
• Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or primary care preferred
• Malpractice/professional liability and general liability insurance
