Job Description - Part Time - Office Registered Nurse

Description: The office RN assists the Director of Nursing and Clinical Coordinator in managing the department of nursing. The position conducts the nursing process – assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation – under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. The position coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient satisfaction and supervise field staff performance.


Please note:



  • You will be required to go in the field (Drive your own vehicle) to train, supervise and cover cases as necessary, and in all services areas.

  • Our main service areas are Miami Gardens, Hollywood, Hallandale, Weston, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise.

  • 95% of the role will be in office.

  • You may be On Call at least 1 week every 2 months for emergency calls after hours.- This is paid at an additional bonus.

  • As part of the team you might be offered field visits outside of your scheduled office hours, paid additionally.


Responsibilities:



  • Managing the clinical operations overlooked by the department of nursing

  • Developing care plans to ensure optimal services to the patients

  • Decide upon the workload to be assigned to each one of the working staff

  • Prepare a daily schedule for the facility

  • Plan the shifts and rotations for all the nursing staff

  • Give supervision to the staff concerning their daily duties

  • Make sure that everyone working in the facility is sticking to the given rules and regulations

  • Identify and suggest corrections in the working system

  • Analyze and implement the recommendation for audit

  • Look after the recruitment of new staff

  • Evaluate the overall performance of the entire nursing staff and to make recommendations for correction and improvement

  • Ensure the satisfaction of the patients

  • Address the complaints made by the patients

  • See if all the staff are performing their respective duties in the right manner and at the right time

  • Offer training to the working staff and hold educative programs from time to time to ensure that all the staff stay updated

  • Participate in regular staff meetings

  • To discuss about the current issues, recommendations and updates

  • Make sure that everything is done in accordance with the local, federal and state standards

  • Plan for the optimal utilization of resources

  • Analyze the staff and patient data and make interventions if required.


Requirements:



  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.

  • A Registered Nursing license.

  • Experience in Nursing.

  • Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Good planning and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of computers and healthcare software.

  • The ability to work under stressful conditions.

Experience:



  • Nursing: 2 years (Required)

  • Infusions: Preferred

  • Wound Care: Preferred

  • Office Experience: 1 year Preferred


License/Certification:



  • RN (Required)

  • CPR


Work Location: In person


Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 9am - 5pm
