Part Time Parts Delivery/Shipping & Receiving Assistant

Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time delivery driver/shipping and receiving assistant. We are looking for energetic and committed team members to join our parts department. This position will be operating a delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashion and maintain a clean driving record.

Essential Duties:

• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.


• Verify items with matching invoice and that there is a purchase order for any pick-ups.


• Verify part number and quantity match each customer invoice at dealership and upon delivery.


• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.

• Receive all deliveries, verifying bills of lading against pieces received.


• Distributes and locates parts into bins for collection.


• Scraps all authorized replaced warranty parts on a monthly basis.


• Cleans and restocks shipping and receiving area


• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers

Job Requirements:

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal and phone etiquette skills


• Basic math skills


• Ability to read and comprehend instruction / information


• A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn


• Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications


• Forklift experience a plus but not required


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a background check
