Part-Time Patient Service Rep

Description

University Phyisicians Association is looking for a part-time patient service rep for University Cancer Specialists, a busy speciality practice located within the UT Medical Center. 

Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7a-12:30p

Patient Service Representative Responsibilities:

· Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner

· Document scanning into electronic health record

· Coordinate with front desk and medical staff to manage patient flow 

· Assist patients with elevator entry/exit if needed

· Confirm appointment information and direct patients to the correct department, floor, or waiting area

· Monitor elevator area for patient safety, comfort, and cleanliness

· Provide accurate and timely information about clinic hours, department locations, and general inquiries 

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service representative preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered mindset
• Familiarity with HIPAA and maintaining patient confidentiality
