Urgent Hiring: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location: Summerlin 
Employment Type: Part Time
Shift: Wednesdays and Thursdays 12p-5p

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide high-quality, hands-on care to clients in a home or facility setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining client dignity, safety, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting


• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support


• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or nursing staff


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Follow individualized care plans and document services provided accurately


• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and agency policies
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2+ years experience as a PCA


• Current CPR/First Aid certification 


• Current Cultural Competency certification


• Current physical and TB screen (within the last 12 months)
  


• PCA Certification
  


• Ability to pass background check and drug screening


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
