Part-Time Preschool Ministry Coordinator

Description

The Preschool Sunday Coordinator ensures a smooth, organized, and Christ-centered Sunday morning experience for our preschool-aged children (birth–5 years) and their families. This role involves volunteer coordination, classroom preparation, logistical support, and communication with ministry leadership. 

• Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.
• Prepare for Sunday by scheduling adequate volunteers to cover each age group and service
• Set up classrooms and common areas for Sunday service, reset for school at closing. 
• Coordinate breakfast items in the preschool kitchen area for volunteers
• Prepare materials and Snacks for each classroom
• Ensure check-in computers are functioning propery
• Monitor class schedules to include Kids Praise, playground, and Bible Story, and help teachers stay on time.
• Assist with behavioral support if needed (e.g., removing a child from class and supervising them).
• Ensure children are safe and checked in and out according to procedure. 

Requirements

• Experience working with young children.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the Mission Statement, Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
• Must be an active member of Indian Rocks with regular attendance in worship services, involvement in an Indian Rocks Life Group or Small Group, and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
• Responsible for performing the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel, to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Associate Pastors, Generations Pastor, or Personnel Committee.
