JOIN US AS A PRODUCE CLERK!

We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Produce Clerk at our Ambler location. This position is part-time with 20-29 hours per week.  Weekend availability needs and possible evenings. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great customer service, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:

· Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.

· Stock, rotate, and cull produce as necessary

· Maintaining back-stock areas according to department standards.

· Maintaining produce displays

· Assist other clerks as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

· Other duties as assigned by department head.

· Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.

· Wears protective clothing as required for position.

· Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools.

Requirements

•  Weekend availability needs and possible evenings.
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication and people skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time.
• Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op
