The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of the community, including leasing, resident relations, rent collection, regulatory compliance, and coordination of maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with affordable housing program requirements.
Market and lease available apartments to qualified applicants
Process applications, certifications, move-ins, and move-outs
Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations
Collect rent and manage delinquency in accordance with company policies
Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to resident concerns
Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate effectively with maintenance staff and vendors
Perform regular property inspections to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive community
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Foster a positive community atmosphere for residents
Previous property management, leasing, office administration, or customer service experience preferred
Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, Section 8, or other housing assistance programs is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is preferred
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
