Part Time Recreation Aide for Assisted Living

Oaknoll is currently seeking part-time Recreation Aides to join our team serving our Assisted Living. Exact hours may vary, but should generally be 10-15 hours per week, primarily during evenings and weekends. Some holidays will be required. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, passionate about working with seniors, and willing to take initiative to engage residents with recreational opportunities. Experience working with people with dementia preferred.

Supervised by our Recreation Therapist, the Recreation Aide will:

• Lead daily activities including exercises, trivia, cooking etc.
• Plan and implement one-on-one activities as directed.
• Assist with preparation of monthly activity calendars.
• Document resident participation in department records.
