Part-Time Registered Nurse Blood Draw Specialist

Job Summary:  

At the Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy we are committed to providing

exceptional care and service to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Registered

Nurse (RN) who is experienced in blood draws and looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity.

This role is ideal for someone looking for a light commitment of 1 day per month.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

? Perform blood draws for patients in a calm and efficient manner.

? Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens.

? Provide excellent patient care, addressing any concerns or questions about the blood draw

process.

? Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety

regulations.

? Assist with any other nursing duties as needed.

? Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy according to HIPAA guidelines.

? Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability

required.

? Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

? Experience with blood draws (venipuncture) required.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

? Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.

? Availability to work one day per month, with flexibility for additional shifts.

? Ability to travel between our different clinic locations.

Preferred Qualifications

? Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.

? Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and best practices.

Physical Demands:

to:

? Sit for long periods at a time.

? Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.

? Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs. periodically.

? Travel to clinic locations or sites as needed.
