Part-Time Rental Agent

Description

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Wichita is taking applications for a part-time customer service and rental agent at our Hutchinson rental location. Friday-Monday availability preferred. Schedule will be 8am-6pm on weekdays, 8am-12pm Saturdays. Budget offers competitive pay and benefits such as 401K matching, PTO, health, dental, vision, and other perks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers using standard dialogue
• Address customer inquiries, such as explanation of charges, vehicle damage, directions, etc.
• Perform vehicle exchanges and extensions
• Monitor traffic control
• Inspect incoming vehicles for new damage
• Report damages to on-duty supervisor
• Scan returning vehicles back into system
• Provide computerized receipt to customer
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing and promotions, etc.
• Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge and use of computerized systems
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Retail and sales experience
• Previous experience working in an outdoor environment

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Professional communication skills
• Problem resolution experience
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid Kansas driver's license
• Good driving record
